Another great video! What other entry level hikes would you suggest for the West of Ireland near/ hugging the coast or with great views of the water.

What a lovely, well-maintained trail. I always pass the signs pointing to Aughris Head when I am heading further west to Mayo, and say to myself that I should make time to detour and explore. Thank you for a great video tour again!

Beautiful video! At age 52 this is my dream. Beara, Sheeps Head Loop, Kerry and Dingle Peninsula, as well as Diamond Hill, Connemara all sound and look wonderful! How would you rate Diamond Hill if you had had better weather? I am not in the best of shape but doing strength training and some walking exercises. Hoping though probably much slower than you too it can be done.

Ahh, no way! I was in Bundoran for a week earlier this month. I’ll have to look into this walk in the future. That is an absolutely beautiful walk and I really liked the evening lighting for the video!

Lovely 👌👌 One of my favourite Sligo walks. Scenery is spectacular and its worth spending some time exploring the little stoney beach areas. For a longer walk i recommend starting the walk from Dunmoran strand carpark which can also end with a sea swim when you get back to carpark 🏊‍♀️

I was going to go up the road way a couple of years ago but there was construction/ maintenance 🚧 work being done. Didn't know about this route you took so I might go this way next week when I'm over. Thanks for the video. 👍

St kevins way Hollywood to glendalough is good .. about 32km .. great full days hike.. only downfall it's a long rd section down to the farmers yard near the river.. they definitely need to make it more off rd at the start.. ive done this hike a few times .. planning it again very soon

Having recently returned from doing the Kerry Way and the northern half of the Wicklow Way (largely inspired by this channel!) my advice is to definitely bring midge spray. Clouds of them will come out of nowhere and swarm around your tent as soon as you're done setting up. In retrospect, I would consider doing the Kerry Way entirely door-to-door and leave the camping equipment at home. There are enough good quality and affordable hostels spaced along the trail, and I found quality camping spots difficult to find (so many areas fenced-off, or boggy and lumpy, or too near private property). Dromid Hostel, Traveler's Rest, and Failte Hostel in Kenmare were all great and less than $40.

We'll flight from Italy to Dublin and we would like to hike for 3/4 days. We want also to visit Dublin and maybe Galway. Usually we hike in the Italian Alps. What trail/way do you recommend us? I did my MS1 with Julie and my MSA with Ambrose, small world! I'd highly recommend both. I did my ML training last year, so working on consolidation these days. I'm a REC3 trainer, so that's already covered 🙂

Wow, great job Ellie! I'm impressed! I live in Northern Ireland since 2014 and it was always sad and shocking to see that many irish young people and teens just don't care. They throw rubbish everywhere! I often borrow a litter picker from my workplace and take a walk to pick plastic, beer cans, all sorts of packaging and etc. Unfortunately every weekend some "lovely" lads and chicks leave new waste.. Hope to see more videos like this and more young folks evolved in eco-projects!

That’s fantastic. We’ve watched your videos for years and love them. We’re planning to try and do 5 Irish Caminos in June if we can, which will be a big challenge. Luckily most are fairly short as we are NOT fast 😬😂🐌. We recently did the Camino Portuguese and loved it, and can’t wait to continue our walking in beautiful Ireland. Fell in love with Glendalough first time I went heading back to do Spinc trail.

Nice list, I've done the Bangor Trail a few times and as recently as last week. Sage advice on the midges, it is not worth the misery of getting bitten alive, so any time before mid May or late Sept. The "trail" is gruelling but the views and sense of remoteness is very rewarding. The recent development of the bothys has made it more appealing and helps lighten the rucksack. I would advise doing it northbound due to the position of the bothys. You can do Slieve Carr too but it is a real slog if you are only doing 2 days. I wouldn't do it in winter unless I wanted a real pilgrimage. Good luck and enjoy
